Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 29

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.38 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.23 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.89 per cent at 74,503, and the Nifty-50 down 0.80 per cent at 22,705. About 1,682 shares have advanced, 2,136 have declined and 111 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 76,009.68 on May 27, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 23,110.80 on May 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.38 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.23 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were UNO Minda Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Power Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 415 lakh crore or USD 4.98 trillion as of May 29, 2024. On the same day, 150 stocks hit a 52-week high while 43 stocks touched a 52-week low.
