Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 28
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.63 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.09 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.29 per cent at 75,170, and the Nifty-50 down 0.19 per cent at 22,888. About 1,321 shares have advanced, 2,510 have declined and 102 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 76,009.68 on May 27, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 23,110.80 on May 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.63 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.09 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were 3M India Ltd, Torrent Power Ltd and Exide Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Gokul Agro Resources Ltd, Oriental Aromatics Ltd and Garware Technical Fibres Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in the red with the BSE Healthcare Index being the only gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 417 lakh crore or USD 5.01 trillion as of May 28, 2024. On the same day, 175 stocks hit a 52-week high while 37 stocks touched a 52-week low.
