Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 21

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading mixed on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.07 per cent at 73,953, and the Nifty-50 up 0.12 per cent at 22,529. About 1,619 shares have advanced, 2,316 have declined and 152 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,794.70 on May 03, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.34 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and NHPC Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Bharat Bijlee Ltd, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index and BSE Information Technology were the Top Losers.
