Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on March 12

The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 1.31 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 2.31 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.22 per cent at 73,668 and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 22,336. About 673 shares have advanced, 3,220 have declined and 74 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,245.17 on March 07, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,526.50 on March 11, 2024.

The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.31 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.31 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Linde India Ltd, Torrent Power Ltd and Balkrishna Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are SMS Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Sanghi Industries Ltd and Greenlam Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Industrials Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 386 lakh crore or USD 4.70 trillion as of March 12, 2024. On the same day, 124 stocks hit a 52-week high while 161 stocks touched a 52-week low.
