Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 31

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.63 lakh crore or USD 5.52 trillion as of July 31, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.35 per cent at 81,741, and the Nifty-50 up 0.38 per cent at 24,951. About 2,119 shares have advanced, 1,834 shares have declined and 83 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,908.43 on July 29, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,999.75 on July 29, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.86 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.14 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd, Tata Communication Ltd and Trent Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd, Oswal Greentech Ltd and Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.
