Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 26

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 2.12 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 1.62 per cent at 81,333, and the Nifty-50 up 1.76 per cent at 24,835. About 2,652 shares have advanced, 1,286 shares have declined and 102 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,587.76 on July 19, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,861.15 on July 26, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.12 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd and The New India Assurance Company Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are EMS Ltd, Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd and Balu Forge Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading green with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Metals Goods Index being the Top Gainers which surged over 3 per cent each.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.57 lakh crore or USD 5.46 trillion as of July 26, 2024. On the same day, 319 stocks hit a 52-week high while 16 stocks touched a 52-week low.
