Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 23

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.09 per cent at 80,429, and the Nifty-50 down 0.12 per cent at 24,479. About 1,743 shares have advanced, 2,160 shares have declined and 112 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,588 on July 19, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,855 on July 19, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.74 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Rajesh Exports Ltd, JSW Infrastructure Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Gravita India Ltd, Manoj Vaibhav Gems & Jewellery Ltd and EMS Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE FMCG Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.46 lakh crore or USD 5.34 trillion as of July 23, 2024. On the same day, 170 stocks hit a 52-week high while 34 stocks touched a 52-week low.
