Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 12

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.52 lakh crore or USD 5.42 trillion as of July 12, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex up 0.78 per cent at 80.519, and the Nifty-50 up 0.77 per cent at 24,502. About 1,687 shares have advanced, 2,248 have declined and 101 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 80,893.51 on July 12, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,592.20 on July 12, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.22 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.13 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Dalmia Bharat Ltd, Oil India Ltd and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are IFCI Ltd, HPL Electric & Power Ltd and RailTel Corporation of India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.52 lakh crore or USD 5.42 trillion as of July 12, 2024. On the same day, 285 stocks hit a 52-week high while 21 stocks touched a 52-week low.
