Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on January 30
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,75,20,245 crore as of January 30, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negatively on Tuesday with the Sensex down 1.11 per cent at 71,140 and the Nifty-50 down 0.99 per cent at 21,522. About 1,954 shares have advanced, 1,864 have declined and 89 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,124.15 on January 16, 2024.
The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.53 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, Tata Investment Corporation Ltd, Prime Focus Ltd and IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in red with the BSE Realty Index being the only top gainer while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,75,20,245 crore or approx. Rs 375 lakh crore as of January 30, 2024. On the same day, 498 stocks hit a 52-week high while 21 stocks touched a 52-week low.
