On Friday at 03:30 pm, the benchmark Indian indices were trading lower with the BSE Sensex Index down 141.87 points or 0.24 per cent at a level of 59,463.93 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index down 45.45 points or 0.26 per cent at 17,465.80. About 1,490 shares have advanced, 1,955 declined and 168 are unchanged on BSE.
The top Sensex gainers were Asian Paints Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and NTPC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
The broader market indices were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.17 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.15 per cent, respectively.
Top trending stocks on BSE today are Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Mahindra CIE Automotive, Laxmi Organic Industries, KSB, Finolex Cables, Redington, Polyplex Corporation, India Bulls Real Estate, G.R. Infraprojects, Olectra Greentech and Sky Gold.
