About 1,397 shares have advanced, 2,175 declined and 166 are unchanged on BSE. 

On Monday, at 03:30 pm, the benchmark Indian indices ended the trading session lower with the BSE Sensex Index down 311.03 points or 0.51 per cent at a level of 60,691.54 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index down 99.60 points or 0.56 per cent at 17,844.60. About 1,397 shares have advanced, 2,175 declined and 166 are unchanged on BSE.  

Top Gainers and Top Losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 

The top Sensex gainers were Ultratech Cement Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. 

The broader market indices were trading down, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.12 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.16 per cent, respectively. 

Top trending stocks on BSE today are Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Adani Power, Crisil, Bosch, Cera Sanitaryware, Persistent Systems, Shree Cement, Sumitomo Chemical India, Star Health & Allied Insurance Company, EKI Energy Services, Royal India Corporation, Bata India and Sonata Software.
