Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 19
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 392 lakh crore or USD 4.72 trillion as of February 19, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Monday with the Sensex up 0.39 per cent at 72,708 and the Nifty-50 up 0.37 per cent at 22,122. About 2,436 shares have advanced, 1,530 have declined and 136 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,186.65 on February 19, 2024.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.29 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.77 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, NHPC Ltd and Rajesh Exports Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, Paisalo Digital Ltd and JBM Auto Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.
