Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 16
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 389 lakh crore or USD 4.69 trillion as of February 16, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Friday with the Sensex up 0.52 per cent at 72,427 and the Nifty-50 up 0.59 per cent at 22,041. About 2,196 shares have advanced, 1,646 have declined and 93 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.68 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were The New India Assurance Company Ltd, General Insurance Corporation of India and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are SpiceJet Ltd, Skipper Ltd and Natco Pharma Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Auto Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.
