Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 27

As of December 27, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.42 lakh crore or USD 5.17 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.29 per cent at 78,699 and the Nifty-50 up 0.27 per cent at 23,814. About 1,948 shares have advanced, 2,026 shares have declined and 113 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.08 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.29 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Infrastructure Ltd, Ajanta Pharma Ltd and Escorts Kubota Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Greaves Cotton Ltd, Vakrangee Ltd and PTC Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Healthcare Index and BSE Auto Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 27, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.42 lakh crore or USD 5.17 trillion. On the same day, 155 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 72 stocks touched a 52-week low.
