Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 14
The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 70,602.89 and NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 21,210.20 on December 14, 2023.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positively on Thursday with the Sensex up 1.34 per cent at 70,514 and the Nifty-50 up 1.23 per cent at 21,183. About 2,066 shares have advanced, 1,701 have declined and 125 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 70,602.89 and NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 21,210.20 on December 14, 2023.
The broader markets were in positive territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.06 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.62 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd, SJVN Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Onward Technologies Ltd, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd and PTC Industries Ltd
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index being one of the Top Gainers whereas the BSE Consumer Durables Index being one of the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies was Rs 3,55,12,699.27 crore or approx. Rs 355 lakh crore as of December 14, 2023. On the same day, 419 stocks hit a 52-week high while 15 stocks touched a 52-week low.
