Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 13!
Shares of BGR Energy Systems, the top BSE Smallcap gainer, have been locked at a 20 per cent upper circuit with more than 64 times rise in volume.
According to information released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, India's headline retail inflation rate declined to an 11-month low of 5.88 per cent in November from 6.77 per cent the month before.
Reflecting the strength in global markets, Indian headline indices opened marginally higher today. Telecommunications and information technology stocks helped the indices to move higher. The best-performing sector was BSE Telecommunications, which was led by Tata Communications' gains of more than 7 per cent. BSE Realty, on the other side, suffered significant losses.
At 3:30 pm, the BSE Sensex surged 0.65 per cent, reaching a level of 62,533. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.60 per cent to the 18,608 level. On the Sensex, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance and Infosys were the Top Gainers, whereas Nestle India, Tata Steel and Maruti Suzuki were the Top Losers.
After the company received an order from Indian Oil Corporation worth Rs 330 crore, shares of BGR Energy Systems, the top BSE Smallcap gainer, have been locked at a 20 per cent upper circuit with more than 64 times rise in volume. Additionally, Central Bank of India and UCO Bank were heavily purchased.
