Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 11
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.25 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.35 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading flat on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.02 per cent at 81,526 and the Nifty-50 up 0.13 per cent at 24,642. About 2,150 shares have advanced, 1,834 shares have declined and 112 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.30 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.33 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Bharat Forge Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Sunflag Iron & Steel Company Ltd, Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd and Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.60 lakh crore or USD 5.43 trillion as of December 11, 2024. On the same day, 272 stocks hit a 52-week high while 15 stocks touched a 52-week low.
