Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 09
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.32 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.46 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.25 per cent at 81,506 and the Nifty-50 down 0.24 per cent at 24,619. About 2,295 shares have advanced, 1,775 shares have declined and 170 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.32 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.46 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd, Supreme Industries Ltd and NHPC Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are C.E. Info Systems Ltd, ITI Ltd and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.59 lakh crore or USD 5.42 trillion as of December 09, 2024. On the same day, 286 stocks hit a 52-week high while 20 stocks touched a 52-week low.
