Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 30
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.53 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.75 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.28 per cent at 82,366, and the Nifty-50 up 0.33 per cent at 25,236. About 2,221 shares have advanced, 1,709 shares have declined and 115 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,637.03 on August 30, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,268.35 on August 30, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.53 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.75 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd, Solar Industries Ltd and Sun TV Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Patel Engineering Ltd, Globus Spirits Ltd and Arihant Capital Markets Ltd
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Healthcare Index being the Top Gainers which surged over 1 per cent each.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.64 lakh crore or USD 5.54 trillion as of August 30, 2024. On the same day, 280 stocks hit a 52-week high while 21 stocks touched a 52-week low.
