Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 26
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.66 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.20 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.75 per cent at 81,698, and the Nifty-50 up 0.76 per cent at 25,011. About 2,189 shares have advanced, 1,860shares have declined and 148 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.66 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.20 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Elxsi Ltd, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and PB Fintech Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are RPSG Ventures Ltd, NIIT Ltd and Panacea Biotec Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Services Index and BSE Telecommunication Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.62 lakh crore or USD 5.51 trillion as of August 26, 2024. On the same day, 399 stocks hit a 52-week high while 23 stocks touched a 52-week low.
