Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 01

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.15 per cent at 81,868, and the Nifty-50 up 0.24 per cent at 25,011. About 1,586 shares have advanced, 2,375 shares have declined and 83 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index dowm 0.80 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.70 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Industries Ltd, Oil India Ltd and JSW Enrgy Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Jubilant Pharmova Ltd, Rama Steel Tubes Ltd and Zaggle Prepaid Oceans Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Utlities Index and BSE Power Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.
