Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 26

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 404 lakh crore or USD 4.85 trillion as of April 26, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading positive on Friday with the Sensex down 0.82 per cent at 73,760, and the Nifty-50 down 0.67 per cent at 22,420. About 2,000 shares have advanced, 1,782 have declined and 131 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,124.80 on April 09, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 22,768.40 on April 09, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.83 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.27 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were New India Assurance Company Ltd, GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd and Coromandel International Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are  Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), Engineers India Ltd and Zensar Technologies Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 404 lakh crore or USD 4.85 trillion as of April 26, 2024. On the same day, 252 stocks hit a 52-week high while 16 stocks touched a 52-week low.
