Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 1.09 per cent at 79,409 and the Nifty-50 up 1.15 per cent at 24,126. About 2,918 shares have advanced, 1,168 shares have declined and 161 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.20 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.67 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Suzlon Energy Ltd, Tata Elexi Ltd and AU Small Finance Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Deccan Gold Mines Ltd, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd and Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE FMCG Index, BSE IT Index, BSE Auto Index, BSE Metals Index, BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Power Index, BSE Focused IT Index and BSE Realty Index surging over 2 per cent each.
As of April 21, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.26 lakh crore or USD 5 trillion. On the same day, 115 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 48 stocks touched a 52-week low.
