Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 3.02 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 3.21 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 2.10 per cent at 76,734 and the Nifty-50 up 2.19 per cent at 23,329. About 3,302 shares have advanced, 785 shares have declined and 169 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 3.02 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 3.21 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) and Bharat Forge Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Inox Green Energy Services Ltd, Fino Payments Bank Ltd and Goldiam International Ltd.
On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Consumer Discretionary Index, BSE Industrials Index, BSE Auto Index, BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Realty Index surging over 3 per cent each.
As of April 15, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.12 lakh crore or USD 4.81 trillion. On the same day, 91 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 49 stocks touched a 52-week low.
