Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of March 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.15 lakh crore or USD 4.87 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 1.40 per cent at 77,984 and the Nifty-50 up 1.32 per cent at 23,658. About 2,502 shares have advanced, 1,636 shares have declined and 160 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.32 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd )IREDA), Container Corporation of India Ltd and Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Power Mech Projects Ltd, Sharda Motor Industries Ltd and JBM Auto Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green with the BSE Financial Services Index, BSE Industrials Index, BSE Utilities Index, BSE Bankex Index, BSE Capital Goods Index, BSE Power Index and BSE Realty Index surging over 1.5 per cent each.

As of March 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.15 lakh crore or USD 4.87 trillion. On the same day, 92 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 102 stocks touched a 52-week low.
