Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.83 per cent at 74,390 and the Nifty-50 up 0.93 per cent at 22,545.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.83 per cent at 74,390 and the Nifty-50 up 0.93 per cent at 22,545. About 3,002 shares have advanced, 993 shares have declined and 108 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.65 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.63 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Castrol India Ltd, JSW Infrastructure Ltd and Hindustan Petroeum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Wendt (India) Ltd, Sportking India Ltd and Manoj Vaibhav Gems N Jewellers Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of March 06, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.97 lakh crore or USD 4.56 trillion. On the same day, 56 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 93 stocks touched a 52-week low.
