Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.69 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1.42 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.40 per cent at 78,271 and the Nifty-50 down 0.18 per cent at 23,696. About 2,548 shares have advanced, 1,417 shares have declined and 140 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The top mid-cap gainers were Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd, Oil India Ltd and Abbott India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd, Bliss GVS Pharma Ltd and Centrum Capital Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 05, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.27 lakh crore or USD 4.90 trillion. On the same day, 67 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 59 stocks touched a 52-week low.
