Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 1.76 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1.83 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.97 per cent at 77,501  and the Nifty-50 up 1.11 per cent at 23,508. About 2,719 shares have advanced, 1,203 shares have declined and 125 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.76 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.83 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, Mazagoan Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Gulshan Polyols Ltd, Sindhu Trade Links Limited and Sasken Technologies Ltd

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green with the BSE Industrials Index, BSE Utilities Index, BSE Capital Goods Index BSE Oil & Gas Index, BSE Power Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers which gained over 2 per cent each.

As of January 31, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.24 lakh crore or USD 4.90 trillion. On the same day, 62 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 85 stocks touched a 52-week low.
