Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.61 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.77 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.71 per cent at 75,901 and the Nifty-50 up 0.56 per cent at 22,957. About 1,308 shares have advanced, 2,666 shares have declined and 110 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.61 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.77 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Balkrishna Industries Ltd, Bank of India and Mazagon Dock Shipyard Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd, Nelcast Ltd and NACL Industries Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Bankex and BSE Financial Services Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Healthcare Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
As of January 28, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.09 lakh crore or USD 4.73 trillion. On the same day, 60 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 569 stocks touched a 52-week low.
