Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these stocks on February 15

At noon on Tuesday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading on the greener side. The Sensex was at 57,297.66, up by 891.82 points or 1.58 per cent, while Nifty was at 17,103.95 up by 260.10 points or 1.54 per cent from the last trading session.   

On the BSE, till now, 1421 shares have advanced, 1790 shares declined, whereas 105 shares have unchanged.     

The top gainers of Nifty 50 are Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Shree Cements, Bajaj Auto, and Hindustan Unilever. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index include Cipla, Tata Steel, ONGC, Power Grid Corporation of India, and IOC. 

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 27,568, up by 0.24 per cent. The top five gainers are Excel Industries, Sree Rayalaseema, Manaksia Steels, Anant Raj, and Dredging Corporation of India. Each of these stocks gained more than 12 per cent. Similarly, the top five stocks pulling the index down include Jindal Poly Films, Repco Home Finance, Mannapuram Finance, Reliance Infrastructure, and Rossari Biotech. 

On the sectoral front, the BSE indices are regaining their levels, where BSE IT, BSE CDGS, BSE Telecom, BSE Auto, and BSE Energy have gained more than 1 per cent. 

Following low-priced stocks were locked in the upper circuit on Tuesday. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.
