SBI mutual fund purchased 1,82,32,694 shares of this housing finance company, FIIs increased their stake!
SBI Mutual Fund and East Bridge Capital Master Fund acquired substantial stakes in Aptus Value Housing Finance through bulk deals on Tuesday.
On May 21, SBI Mutual Fund acquired a 3.65 per cent stake in Aptus Value Housing Finance through bulk deals, purchasing 1.82 crore shares at an average price of Rs 294 per share. East Bridge Capital Master Fund 1 LTD also bought 43 lakh shares, equivalent to a 0.87 per cent stake, at the same average price.
On the selling side, Westbridge Crossover Fund LLC offloaded 2.4 crore shares, representing a 4.96 per cent stake, at an average price of Rs 294.15 per share. Additionally, JIH II LLC sold 1.01 crore shares, amounting to a 2.03 per cent stake, at an average price of Rs 294.73 per share.
Aptus Value Housing Finance shares closed down 5.48 per cent at Rs 297.75 on the BSE on Tuesday. The current market capitalization of the company stands at Rs 14,856.95 crore. Additionally, the stock has delivered a moderate return of 13 per cent in the past year but it has great potential to deliver multibagger returns in the future.
In FY24, Aptus Value Housing Finance reported revenue of Rs 1365 crore, representing a year-on-year growth of 25 per cent from Rs 1093 crore last year. The company posted an operating profit of Rs 1139 crore, compared to a profit of Rs 902 crore last year. The company’s net profit stood at Rs 612 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 503 crore in FY23, representing a YoY gain of around 27 per cent. As per Quarterly Results of Q4 FY24, the company’s revenue grew by 25.5 per cent while PAT surged by 21.5 per cent YoY.
Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd is a home loan company. Aptus was formed to primarily address the housing finance needs of self-employed, low, and middle-income families primarily from semi-urban and rural areas. The company targets first-time home buyers where the collateral is self-occupied residential property.
