Salasar Techno Engineering rises 3 per cent on launch of steel manufacturing unit

The company announced the launch of its new manufacturing plant for structural steel fabrication in Hapur, situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh.  

The newly-inaugurated manufacturing facility is said to be one of the largest installed capacities plant in North India. It has a combined production capacity of 15,000 tonnes per annum.  

The manufacturing plant is equipped with all the advanced technologies. It has a multi torch CNC plasma cutting machine for extreme precision. It is also installed with twin-wire on both sides, an advanced beam welding line from Corimpex Italy, automated blasting and painting machine for multi-coat painting, and many such upgraded equipment.  

The unit is spread in an area of over 60,000 sq. metres. The facility is aimed at providing 360-degree solutions for heavy steel structures (bridges, high-rise buildings, airports, warehouses, etc.) starting from structural design to fabrication, supply erection, and handing it over to the customer.  

On Wednesday at 3 pm, the shares of the company were trading 2.6 per cent higher at Rs 414.25 on BSE.
