RPP Infra Projects bags orders worth Rs. 217 crore
Rural focused EPC player, RPP Infra Projects has secured orders worth Rs. 217.1 crore from Maharashtra’s Public Works Department (PWD), the company informed the bourses on Tuesday.
These orders include rehabilitation and up-gradation of existing highway (NH-647) to 2 lane with paved shoulder configuration (Wardha to Arvi). This contract is based on Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode. This work is likely to be completed within the next18 months.
As on March 31, 2018, the company’s order book was at around Rs. 1,173 crore. Out of these, infrastructure orders dominate with 52 per cent share, followed by building segment and water management segment which contributes around 28 and 19 per cent, respectively.
Over the past few years, the company has reduced its concentration from the state of Tamil Nadu which constituted 74 per cent of its total orders in FY14 to 40 per cent in FY18.
After adding current order receipt to Rs. 1,173 order backlog translate total order of Rs. 1390 which gives strong revenue visibility for the next 2-3 years.
RPP Infra Projects is construction engineering major with interests in Infrastructure, Water management & Buildings businesses. The company operates majorly in the southern parts of the country but has now diversified by entering new geographies.
