Route Mobile to accelerate blockchain commerce; partners with Comviva Technologies

India’s leading cloud communication platform service provider, Route Mobile recently announced a long-term partnership with Comviva Technologies to furnish advanced blockchain solutions for global telecom companies. The distributed ledger technology (DLT) system, which is in line with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) will empower Route Mobile to aid telecom operators to reduce unsolicited commercial communication (UCC), adhere to the regulations, enable compliance, ensure better governance and create fresh avenues for monetisation.   

In a filing with the exchange, the company stated, “Comviva’s DLT-based solution brings all the relevant parties in the ecosystem onto the blockchain, helping Telcos, as well as telemarketers, manage preference registration, consent acquisition, dynamic preference setting, stakeholder onboarding, header & template registration, scrubbing service, complaint handling, and tracking, which are in line with the tenets of TRAI Regulations.”
