Rolta bags Rs. 365 crore digital transformation projects
The emphasis on digitalization of the economy and various processes in Indian industries is benefiting IT solution providers like Rolta India Limited. The company won domestic digital transformation orders worth Rs. 365 crore from various organisation operating in different businesses. The adopting of the Internet of Things (IoT) and deployment of intelligent devices are driving digital transformation.
The orders include a project from India's integrated power sector player which will employ Rolta’s BI and Big Data Analytics IP-portfolio to develop and manage its business process automation system. Another order is from the telecom sector for a modernization of network management and analytics system for a 57,000 kms long fibre optic network. Rolta will provide advance Geospatial Analytical capabilities. The company has also received a project from a shipping major for digital transformation of its organisation through Rolta's OneView solution.
The company has also won a contract as part of a consortium for a smart city from the Smart Cities Program of Government India. Rolta is responsible for the Command and Control Center with its OneView - Smart City Operations Intelligence Suite for IoT integration
Meanwhile, at 14:54 the stock of Rolta India was trading at Rs. 62.20 per share, up by 1.72 per cent on Friday.
