Ramkrishna Forgings secures order worth Rs 15 crore
The company is a supplier of critical safety items for railway coaches and wagons.
Ramkrishna Forgings Limited, a domestic company engaged in the supply of rolled, forged and machined products, announced this morning that it has won an order worth Rs 15 crore from one of the biggest players in the energy segment for the supply of fabrication parts.
The company is a supplier of critical safety items such as screw coupling, bolster suspension, side frame keys and draw gear assembly for railway coaches and wagons. It supplies to various sectors such as automotive, railways, farm equipment, bearings, oil and gas, power and construction, earthmoving and mining, both in India as well as abroad.
Commenting on this development, Lalit Khetan, Executive Director and CFO, said that this order win strengthens the company’s presence in non-auto sectors, and is aligned with the strategy to improve revenue share of the non-auto segment and diversify its business.
At 2.52 pm, the share price of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited was trading at Rs 1,178.55, a decrease of 1.1 per cent from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 1,191.65 on BSE.
