Ramco Systems to provide digital transformation to Aden Container Terminal

Global enterprise software solutions provider, Ramco Systems will provide next-gen enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to the largest container terminal in the Republic of Yemen, Aden Container Terminal (ACT); thus, deepening its 12-year partnership.  

The agreement will help in the upgrade of ACT’s HR, payroll, and financial accounting capabilities, modernisation as well as digitisation of the existing applications. It will also lead to the introduction of newer technologies and innovations such as payroll hubs, accounts payable/accounts receivable hubs, as well as mobile apps, with a sleeker and more comprehensive dashboard.  

Ramco’s HR & Payroll modules will provide reporting capabilities to enable ACT’s management to make on-the-spot decisions for payroll, bonus, leave & attendance. Similarly, its financial accounting module will cover items such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger while everything would be present on a unified dashboard. The implementation of these new features will help the company minimise manual processes and human intervention; thereby, enabling them to reduce its paper usage.  

At the time of market closing on Tuesday, the share price of Ramco Systems Ltd was trading 3.32 per cent higher at Rs 617.70 on BSE.
