As of February 29, 2024, the NAV of the Growth option-Direct plan of Quant Small-cap Fund stands at Rs 245.0217. The top three holdings of the Small-cap fund are Reliance Industries (9.90 per cent), Jio Financial Services (6.27 per cent), and Bikaji Foods International (3.59 per cent).
Comparing month-on-month data, Reliance Industries' holding has experienced a slight increase from 9.87 percent to 9.90 percent. However, notable jumps have been observed in Jio Financial Services and Bikaji Foods International. Bikaji Foods International has ascended to the top three holdings from its previous 8th position, while Jio Financial Services has moved up from third to second position. Conversely, Arvind Ltd, previously among the top 10 holdings, is absent from the recent fact sheet, indicating significant profit booking in the stock.
The cash holding has risen from 2.15 percent in December to 4.9 percent in January and currently stands at 5.53 per cent. Furthermore, the AUM size has increased to Rs 17,193 crore from Rs 15,664 crore last month.
Quant Small Cap Fund invests majority of the portfolio is composed of small-cap stocks and portfolio is constructed from both medium-term and long-term perspective and this scheme is apt for long-term investors. The bulk of the portfolio is invested in high growth companies with attractive valuation and is relatively under-owned.
