Q3FY19: Navneet profit plummets by 36.48 per cent
Navneet Education reported a PAT of Rs. 7.54 crore with an EPS of Rs. 0.32 per share on a standalone basis for the quarter ended December 2018 as against Rs. 11.87 crore with an EPS of Rs.0.51 per share in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s total income came in Rs.184.55 crore for the quarter ended December 2018 as against Rs. 178.76 crore for the same period last year, registering a marginal increase of 3.24 per cent.
The company operates in the segments of Publication and Stationery and others and it’s geographical segments include North and Central America, Africa, Europe, Australia & Oceania, Rest of the World and India. The company operates under various brands like Navneet, Vikas, Gala, Grafalco, FfUuNn and Boss.
On Tuesday, the stock of Navneet Education was trading at Rs. 105 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 105 and Rs. 102 on the BSE. The stock had hit its 52-week high of Rs. 160.85 on March 16, 2018 and its 52-week low was Rs. 98.55 on October 25, 2018 on the BSE.
