Q3FY19: JBM Auto PAT slips 15 per cent QoQ
Automotive company JBM Auto’s PAT came in at Rs. 19.72 crore with an EPS of Rs. 4.42 per share as against Rs. 23.2 crore with an EPS of Rs. 5.12 per share for Q2FY19.
The revenues for the company came in at Rs. 436.64 crore, down 4.95 per cent as against Rs.459.4 crore in the previous quarter.
The company recently commenced a trial run of JBM Solaris Electric Bus ECO-LIFE in association with the Delhi government pushing for EVs in the city.
JBM Auto's operating segments include sheet metal components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, tools, dies and moulds. The Bus division includes activities related to design, manufacture and development as well as accessories and maintenance contracts of the same. The company’s product portfolio includes air tanks, fuel tanks, exhaust systems, complete cowl assemblies, chassis and suspension parts. The company also manufactures, chassis and suspensions systems, skin panels and cross car/truck beam among others.
On Tuesday, JBM Auto closed at Rs. 249 per share, down 2 per cent at its 52-week low on the BSE
