Q2FY19 Results: Inox Leisure reports mixed set of numbers
Inox Leisure reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 on Monday. The company's consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 365.31 crore as against Rs. 311.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 17.4 per cent yoy increase.
The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 2.4 per cent yoy to Rs. 44.79 crore as against Rs. 43.75 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin contraction of 179 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 12.3 per cent. This margin contraction was led by a sharp jump in the cost of food and beverages by 51 per cent yoy.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 11.97 crore as against Rs. 11.68 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, yoy increase of 2.5 per cent.
The overall footfalls & occupancy increased by 7.2 per cent in Q2FY19 and the overall average ticket price increased by 5.1 per cent in Q2FY19.
The revenue break-up for the said quarter stood at box office (56.5 per cent), food & beverages (21.5 per cent), advertisement (10.3 per cent) and others (8.5 per cent). The company is having pan India presence with 536 screens in 66 cities.
On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 241.90 per share and made an intraday low of Rs. 210.95 and finally closed at Rs. 217, on the BSE.
