Q2FY19, Mishra Dhatu posts 7.5 per cent YoY increase in bottom line
Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 after market hours today.
Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 113.9 crore, registering a decline of 1.2 per cent YoY. Its EBITDA for the quarter rose by 20 per cent YoY to Rs. 33.54 crore, with a corresponding margin expansion of 522 bps. The EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 29.4 per cent .
The net profit for the quarter came in at Rs. 20.54 crore, an increase of 7.5 per cent YoY . This was due to increased interest costs. PAT margin for the quarter stood at 18 per cent.
Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited is a mini-Ratna defence PSU engaged in manufacturing of special steels superalloys and the only manufacturer of titanium alloys in India.
The stock today closed at Rs. 124.60, up by 1.71 per cent from its last close on the BSE.
