Q2CY20 results: Sanofi India net profit by 39.94 per cent YoY to Rs 136.3 crore

Sanofi India Ltd., formerly known as Aventis Pharma, announced its quarterly results on July 28, 2020. The company posted net profit of Rs 136.3 crore for Q2CY20, which increased by 39.94 per cent, as compared to Q2CY19 when it reported Rs 97.4 crore.                                                                                                                                                   

The net sales reported in Q2CY20 came in at Rs 710.5 crore, which declined by 5 per cent YoY from Rs 747.9 crore in Q2CY19. At EBITDA level, the company stood at Rs 177.2 crore in Q2CY20 that increased by 12.29 per cent YoY. For Q2CY19, it posted an EBITDA of Rs 157.8 crore.                                                                                                                                                       

EBITDA margin as of Q2CY20 was at 24.94 per cent that increased by 3.84 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q2CY20 came in at 19.18 per cent, which increased by 6.16 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q2CY19 was at 13.02 per cent. 

The stock closed with a decline of 1.53 per cent at Rs 7,581.45. It has a 52 week high of Rs 8,528.45 and 52 week low of Rs 5,610 on BSE.
