Q1FY21 results: Indraprastha Gas net profit declines by 85.64 per cent YoY to Rs 35.18 crore
Indraprastha Gas Limited announced its Q1FY21 results on Aug 26, 2020. The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 692.53 crore in Q1FY21, which declined by 60.29 per cent YoY from Rs 1744.07 crore in Q1FY20.
The company posted EBITDA of Rs 83.44 crore in Q1FY21 that decreased by 76.72 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it had posted EBITDA of Rs 358.46 crore. EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at 12.05 per cent that declined by 8.5 per cent YoY. EBITDA margin for Q1FY20 was 20.55 per cent.
The consolidated net profit in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 35.18 crore, which declined by 85.64 per cent, as compared to Q1FY20, when it reported a profit of Rs 245.04 crore. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at 5.08 per cent, which declined by 8.97 per cent YoY. The net profit margin for Q1FY20 was 14.05 per cent.
The share price of the company closed at Rs 413.55, up by 0.02 per cent.
