Q1FY21 results: Fortis Healthcare records net loss of Rs 187.88 crore
Fortis Healthcare Limited, India’s leading healthcare delivery company announced its Q1FY21 results on Aug 14, 2020. The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 605.95 crore in Q1FY21, which declined by 46.77 per cent YoY from Rs 1138.31 crore in Q1FY20.
The company posted negative EBITDA of Rs 103.29 crore in Q1FY21 that decreased by 172.6 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it had posted EBITDA of Rs 142.28 crore. EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at negative 17.05 per cent that declined by 29.55 per cent YoY. EBITDA margin for Q1FY20 was 12.5 per cent.
The consolidated net loss in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 187.88 crore, which declined by 340.84 per cent, as compared to Q1FY20, when it reported a profit of Rs 78.01 crore. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at negative 31.01 per cent, which declined by 37.86 per cent YoY. The net profit margin for Q1FY20 was 6.85 per cent.
Hospital occupancy for Q1FY21 was at 37 per cent versus 66 per cent in Q1FY20. Hospital business revenues stood at Rs 488.3 crore for the quarter ended June this year as against Rs 913 crore in Q1FY20.
On Monday, the share of the company was down by 0.22 per cent and closed at Rs 135.5.
