Q1FY21 results: Avanti Feeds net profit rises 14.33 per cent YoY

Avanti Feeds Limited, a leading provider of high quality shrimp feed, announced its quarterly results on August 27, 2020. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 115.99 crore for Q1FY21, which increased by 14.33 per cent YoY, as compared to Q1FY20 when it reported Rs 101.45 crore.                                                                                                                                                 

The consolidated net sales reported in Q1FY21 came in at Rs 955.40 crore, which declined by 12.63 per cent YoY from Rs 1,093.49 crore in Q1FY20. At EBITDA level, the company stood at Rs 129.09 crore in Q1FY21 that decreased by 5.66 per cent YoY. For Q1FY20, it posted an EBITDA of Rs 136.84 crore.                                                                                                                                                               

EBITDA margin as of Q1FY21 was at 13.51 per cent that increased by 100 bps YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY21 came in at 12.14 per cent, which increased by 2.86 per cent YoY. The net profit margin in Q1FY20 was at 9.28 per cent.         

The shares of Avanti Feeds closed down by 0.64 per cent at Rs 555.25 in today’s session on BSE.
