Q1FY19 Result: Jiya Eco Products soars 7 per cent as PAT spikes 3 times

Jiya Eco Products reported its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2018 on Thursday during market hours. The company’s standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 36.62 crore as against Rs. 17.95 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 104 per cent yoy increase.
   
   
EBITDA for the quarter rose by 106.3 per cent yoy to Rs. 6.24 crore as against Rs. 3.03 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a margin expansion of 19 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 17 per cent.
   
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 5.29 crore as against Rs. 1.72 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, yoy increase of 207.6 per cent.

Jiya Eco-Products is engaged in the manufacturing of biofuel, such as bio briquettes and bio-pellets, which are used as alternative sources of energy. It is the only listed company that manufactures biomass briquettes and pellets from agriculture waste and forest waste.

With the announcement of impressive Q1 result, the stock jumped by 7 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs. 129 per share on the BSE.
