Prataap Snack to launch new products, focus on sweet snacks
Indore-based snack food company Prataap Snack said that the company is planning to launch a few more variants such as cupcakes, tiffin cakes in the near future, on Wednesday.
The company announced its fourth quarter results on Wednesday. In a press note, the company said that it is planning to launch variants like Cup Cake and Tiffin Cake in the coming months, which will further elevate the growth of its sweet snacks portfolio in FY20.
The response to its sweet snacks portfolio has been encouraging and the company is witnessing good traction. Considering this, the company is expanding production capacity for sweet snacks by adding more lines in the existing plant.
Prataap Snacks owns the Yellow Diamond brand via which it sells its products. It is among the top Indian organized snack player. It has a diversified product portfolio including traditional and western snacks. The company posted revenue growth of 15 per cent YoY for FY19. The revenue for this period stood at Rs. 1170.6 crore. On operating front, its EBITDA stood at Rs. 83.2 crore with corresponding margin at 7.1 per cent. Its net profit for FY19 stood at Rs. 44.6 crore.
On Wednesday, the stock closed at Rs. 939.95 per share with gains of 5.7 per cent on BSE.
