PNC Infratech bags project worth Rs. 186 crore from PWD
PNC Infratech has been awarded a project worth Rs. 186 crore on Friday. The shares of the company opened in green as the company received the Letter of Award (LoA) from Public Works Department (PWD), Uttar Pradesh.
The company will be engaged in the widening and strengthening of 63.65 km long Lakhimpur to Dudhawa National Park State Highway in the District of Lakhimpur-Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. The contract is valued at Rs. 186.48 crore.
The company received the Letter of Award (LoA) from Public Works Department (PWD), Uttar Pradesh. The work is to be completed within 24 months.
PNC Infratech Limited is an infrastructure construction, development and management company. The company is primarily engaged in the areas of infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, flyovers, power transmission lines, airport runways and other infrastructure activities. The company's segments include EPC Contract and BOT (Toll and Annuity).
On Monday, the stock of PNC Infra opened at Rs. 144.05 per share as against Friday’s close of Rs. 137.05. At 10:00 hours, the shares were however trading at Rs. 136.50 per share, down by 0.40 per cent. The stock's intraday high was Rs. 145 and the intraday low was Rs. 135.60 per share on the BSE. Its 52-week high was Rs. 122.70 and 52-week low was Rs. 199.90 per share on the BSE.
Meanwhile, Sensex was at 35.601.43, down by 0.58 per cent.
