Pidilite Industries enters into JV with Chetana

Leading adhesive manufacturer Pidilite Industries has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) with a Bangalore based engineering technologies company, Chetana Expotential Technologies.

Chetana Expotential Technologies has invented a technology in the field of Post Compressed Aerated Concrete Wall Panels. The JV Company will be responsible for using this innovative technology and other ancillary products in projects across India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Pidilite Industries Limited is a leading manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, construction chemicals, craftsmen products, DIY (Do-It-Yourself) products and polymer emulsions in India. The revenue mix as on Q1FY20 stood at Consumer & Bazaar Products (83 per cent), Industrial Products (16 per cent) and Others (1 per cent).

The company is having 19 overseas subsidiaries and one joint venture having operations in USA, Brazil, Thailand, Dubai, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

On Tuesday, the stock of Pidilite Industries opened at Rs. 1391.40 and made an intraday high of Rs. 1399.80 on the BSE.
